Pelikan M605 White Transparent Special Edition, M625 18K Medium, inked with Montblanc Leonardo Red Chalk

This is probably the least favourite of my "white" M600s. Its just too white. I worry about staining it so I use very safe inks with it.

The only 18K full rhodium plated nib I own. It came with my M625 Red pen and it is quite a nice writer for a boring medium nib.

Its been almost two years since I last used this ink and my thoughts have not really changed. It is still a nice shade of red-brown that does not shade.

Pelikan M620 San Francisco, M600 14K Medium, inked with Montblanc Leonardo Red Chalk

My most prized Pelikan.

My first M600 nib bought in 2010 on the M600 Black/Green Striated, this medium is serviceable but nothing special, it writes wet, which I really like.

I am a fan of the cube shaped Montblanc bottles used for special editions that are not Writers Series. They are deep enough to cater for my largest nibs.

I am far more impressed with this ink this time around than I was last time I used it some 28 months ago, on that occasion it was used in a double broad nib that did nothing for it. This ink does not provide a great deal of colour variation but the reddish-brown colour is very attractive.
