Pelikan M101N Lizard Special Edition, M405 14K Broad, inked with Pilot iroshizuku tsuki-yo
The Lizard is an interesting little pen that is aways welcome back in rotation. It is the only one of my four M101N that features silver rather than gold trim.
Just like silver trimmed pens I do like an all silver coloured nib, the silver colour is actually rhodium plating. I bought this nib as a replacement for the steel nib I got with the M205 Toledo Red late last year. I love a broad nib because it allows an ink to show off its best.
tsuki-yo is Japanese for moon light which makes me think midnight blue but this ink colour is classified as a blue-black in my database. This is a good shading ink that sheens slightly. This is one of my favourite blue-black inks.
