Who would have thought that a pen that resembles sandstone would be a favourite - not me but out of my twelve M620 City Series pens this ranks up there with San Francisco and Athens as my favs.

I really wish the modern Pelikan fine nibs were as fine as this one from the early 2000s. I tend to like my broader nibs more these days as my handwritten has become more flourish-full. But sometimes I need to print in the margins at the office, so this fine nib will get some use.

It takes a long time to get around my ink collection. This was first used in February 2016 and now 26 months later it gets another run. Sadly in the meantime Bookbinders Online have discontinued their line of Snake inks so it is unlikely you could get this ink now even if you wanted it.

This is a pretty standard brown ink at the yellower end of the brown spectrum. It shades but almost all browns ink shade.
