The first pen of October is the handsome M805 Black/Blue Striated model with silver furniture. I have this pen in the M405 size as well and should really complete the set with M605 size in 2019.

Another of my Richard Binder custom grinds - this is the finest cursive italic (CI) that I own at 0.6mm. I am more of a fan of my broader CIs (0.7mm or 0.9mm) as they exhibit much larger line variation than this 0.6mm. The line variation is there but not as pronounced.

The Bookbinders Snake Ink range has been discontinued but they are still nice inks to have if you can source them on the secondary market. This red is not the strongest of the range and isn’t quite shown at its best from this fine CI with little shading and no sheen.
