The beautiful M620 Madrid. It is probably the favourite red coloured Pelikan in my collection, just beating my pair of Ruby Red pens. I am really hoping Pelikan continue their 'Vibrant' series and do a version in red - one can only hope.
This 18K fine nib came with the M620 Berlin and a good writing fine nib. It gets a rank of 9.5 out of 10 in my fountain pen database.
A good design of bottle being tall with a wide mouth so the largest of pens can be filled. The bottle is plastic, but it has a high quantity feel unlike that used by Noodler's while they were unable to get their normal glass bottles..
Robert Oster is an Australian manufacturer of inks harking from South Australia. His inks have really come to prominence in the last year, becoming a favourite of the Fountain Pen Australia Facebook group (FPA) . This shade, called Ruby is a special release for the Sakura Fountain Pen Gallery in Belgium but the FPA arranged a special group buy for this ink. The ink itself is a nice red but is not quite to my mind a ruby red shade especially from this fine nib.
