Yet another of my many Pilot Custom 742 Black/Gold fountain pens comes into rotation. Black resin with gold trim, Pelikan M800 sized and featuring the large capacity CON70 convertor. Nothing too exciting about it - just a good user pen.
A single toned 14K gold Broad nib - Japanese broad which is comparable in line width to the majority of my European mediums.
Pilot iroshizuku tsuki-yo (moonlight) is a blue-black shade in the tradition of my benchmark blue-black, the Waterman version. It is a well behaved ink that shades pretty well from this nib and would rank up there in my list of favourite blue-blacks.
